Flesh & Blood

Flesh and Blood is a fantasy-themed trading card game (TCG) that's designed to be played in person: 

  • Gameplay: Players take on the role of a hero from the world of Rathe, each with their own unique abilities and cards. The goal is to reduce your opponent's hero's life points to zero. 
  • Mechanics: The game features a unique resource system and combat dynamic, along with mechanics for generating resource points and keeping your hand full. 
  • Formats: Players can compete in 1v1 or multiplayer formats. 
  • Design: The game was created by James White, a former professional Magic: The Gathering player, and published by Legend Story Studios, an independent design studio in Auckland, New Zealand. 
  • Name: The game's name comes from the phrase "flesh and blood", which refers to the game's intention to be played in person. 
  • Release: The first booster set, Welcome to Rathe, was released in October 2019.
